Timeline for Registration: 

Last day to register online: Wednesday, March 16, 2022

Last day to register by mail (postmarked): Wednesday, March 16, 2022

You can always register in person the day of the election, provided you bring the necessary documents.

Vote Absentee:

Request to Vote Vote Absentee by Mail here:  https://myvote.wi.gov/en-us/Vote-Absentee-By-Mail

Recommended last day to request an absentee ballot: March 22

Recommended last day to return absentee ballot: March 29

Due to a recent WI Supreme Court Decision:

      • Do not let anyone carry your absentee ballot other than your mail carrier. You may not deliver anyone’s ballot to the mailbox except your own. Mail from your home or take to a post office.
      • Absentee drop boxes are not being allowed for the April election, so do not take your ballot a drop box. They will not be counted.

Vote Early

You may vote early (Absentee in person) between March 22 and April 1st. Absentee in person voting happens based on your municipality: Check the hours for your city clerk here: https://www.lacrossecounty.org/countyclerk/elections.asp

Remember, boundary lines have been redrawn so you may be in a new district with a new voting location.
